Good Earth

green-beansThe Good Earth program supplies over 200 families each year with basic garden needs such as seed and fertilizer.

December 2011 update:

Mark April 14, 2012 on your calendar. This will be the day we will be giving out seeds, plants, and fertilizer. This year we served 417 families.

August 2011 update:

Four-hundred-nineteen families were provided vegetable seed, fertilizer, onion sets, tomato and cabbage plants, and potato seeds to plant a garden.

In Morgan and Scott counties it has long been an honorable tradition to plant and grow fresh vegetables each summer. But, seeds and fertilizer are expensive. Growing a garden has become a luxury that without your help, our families could no longer afford.
